Walk on the Wild Side Gala

All proceeds raised during the gala benefit The Foundation School Grants which are distributed to all Tigard-Tualatin District Schools each school year.

WHEN: April 18, 2026 from 5:00 – 9:00 pm

WHERE: Oregon Zoo, Cascade Ballroom

ATTIRE: Cocktail with animal flair. Examples: animal prints, jungle-y hues, feathered accents, safari-inspired accessories. Get creative!

Join us for an evening of elegance, entertainment, and untamed generosity at the Walk on the Wild Side Gala. From stripes to spots, bring a touch of wild style and a heart for learning.

You’ll arrive to the venue and upon check-in will be greeted with a welcome drink.

Enjoy the no-host bar while snacking on appetizers and participating in fun activities, including a Wine Wall, Whiskey Wall, Plinko, Heads or Tails, and Dessert Dash.

Wine Wall

Pay a flat rate and take home a mystery bottle of wine! This year we will have a very fun, in-theme interactive Wine Wall!

Whiskey Wall

New this year! Pay a flat amount and take home a mystery bottle of whiskey. 

The Grand Hatch (Mystery bags)

Choose an egg, open it up, and inside you’ll find the number corresponding with the numbered mystery bag that you get to take home with goodies inside! 

Heads or Tails 50/50 Raffle

Each entry gives you a bead necklace to wear, and when it’s time to play, stand up and vote for heads (touch your head) or tails (touch your bottom). A coin toss determines if you get to keep your necklace or remove it. The last person standing with necklaces on is the winner! (Winner gets 50% of money collected for this game.)

Paddle Raise

The paddle raise is a simple, rewarding, practical way to support our schools. During this portion of the evening, simply raise your paddle with your unique number on it when you would like to donate the stated amount.

Dessert Dash

After dinner, get ready for an exciting dessert dash! Take a peek at the dessert table filled with enough treats for each table. Write your donation amount on the card provided at your table – the highest bidding table dashes first to claim their favorite dessert. It’s fast-paced, delightful chaos as our emcee calls out tables in quick succession. Enjoy delicious cakes, pies, or cookies, all generously donated by local businesses.
