SEED

Academically challenging enrichment classes for students in the Tigard-Tualatin School District. Summer Classes Now Open

Program Information

The Foundation is producing SEED, a series of moderately priced enrichment classes for students in the Portland Metro area.  These classes will be academically challenging with an emphasis on inquiry-based learning for students enrolled in grades 3-12 interested in exploring additional specialized areas of science, mathematics, humanities and the arts. Proceeds from the SEED program are re-invested in the Tigard-Tualatin schools through the Foundation’s Innovative Grant program.

All classes during the Fall & Spring sessions will be held on Sunday afternoons for eight weeks at Hazelbrook Middle School in Tualatin. Summer classes will be either half or full day for a week, and held at Hazelbrook Middle School in Tualatin.

Full and partial scholarships will only be awarded once per year (fall, spring, and summer = one year).  Partial and full scholarship requests should be emailed to seed@the-FTTS.org.
